Valentine’s Day at my place was a blast! 🥂🌹 I hosted a formal dinner party with friends, and the evening was nothing short of spectacular.

The atmosphere was set right from the welcome adorned with beautiful flowers. The red, pink, and gold theme was carried throughout, with fresh flowers, a DIY candle-log-bra centerpiece, and charming ruby red ribbon sashes on the dining chairs. It was all about the details.

Guests were welcome to make themselves a cocktail at the all pink bar, that featured pink tequila, wine, gin and of course, non-alcoholic options.

The highlight of the evening? The personalized menu, on theme, of course, courtesy of my talented friend and private chef, Gabrielle McBay. Here’s what we savored:

• Love Bites (Pink Sushi, Petite Cheeseburgers)
• Main Squeeze – Lover Girl Salad (radicchio, prosciutto, thin radish, pickled onions, raspberry champagne vin) and Bxtches Love Pasta (Pink Mafaldine with Gremolata and Grana Padano Snow and Salmon)
• Sweet Nothings – Red Velvet Cake and Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Our guests looked absolutely stunning in their shades of pink, red, and black, perfectly in sync with the theme. We kicked things off with a dazzling champagne tower, toasting to our years of friendship and the evening ahead.

The first course featured mouthwatering delights from Chef Gabrielle: Waygu beef sliders on adorable pink buns and hand-rolled pink sushi.

As we sipped on our cocktails the guests donned personalized aprons I made for them. Chef Gabrielle led a fun demo on preparing her signature “Sexy Salad,” and we had a blast competing to plate our salads like pros.

After the feast, we ventured to the “Kissing Booth,” to take polaroids and create custom lip gloss to take home as a keepsake. It was a unique and memorable touch to the evening. Of course, the packaging was personalized for each guest!

And for dessert, we indulged in a sumptuous heart-shaped Red Velvet cake and white chocolate-dipped strawberries, courtesy of my favorite local bakery, “Sugar Shaker Bakery.” Their cakes are not just beautiful; they’re incredibly delicious. I can personally vouch for their expertise, as they crafted a towering art deco style cake for my Roaring Twenties, Great Gatsby-themed birthday party. 😊🍰🍓
