It’s officially (finally) getting a little chilly here in Central Texas, so it’s time to break out our jackets and boots! I wanted to share this super cute 90’s grunge inspired Mommy and Me look because everything is ON SALE! YASSS! I’m so excited that Ziya is now able to fit into the Forever21 Girls sizes! They start at size 5-6, and although Ziya technically wears 4T, she’s tall so certain things still work! Why is this exciting? Because Forever21 has super cute and affordable matching styles for women and girls! And I love a “mommy and me” moment! I mean, come on! These matching plaid jackets are so cute!
We also styled this outfit with come super comfy black sweaters on top for a more laid back look. The cardigan I’m wearing is SO SOFT, it’s almost like a plush bath robe… but you can wear it outside, love that for me! Ziya’s fluffy jacket is probably going to be her new go-to because it’s also super cozy and will go with anything!
Even if you don’t want to match, there are a lot of cute styles to choose from and again…everything is extra affordable right now with the black friday sale!

The infamous jeans! You guys are always asking about these jeans…they’re my absolute favorite! Something about the fit and the quality is next level! Abercrombie’s sizing works really well for me personally and I love the classic look of their styles. I’m about to stock up on a few more pairs today with this 40% off discount! (for reference I wear size 00 and sometimes choose the “long” option since I’m 5’11)
Last but not least, the Docs! Doc Martens are a classic fall staple boot. The ones I’m wearing are a remix of the original, they have a taller platform and just look a bit more modern to me. Ziya’s are just a mini version of the classics! Since her’s are a softer leather with a more flexible sole, they’re not hard to break in. I purchased hers in a size up so that she can hopefully wear them for 2 seasons, and in the meantime she just wears thick socks with them! Doc Martens are super high quality, they go with almost any casual fall/winter outfit and they’re a great option if you want to match with your little one!
