If you don’t have a boo this Valentine’s day, it may be a great opportunity to spend time and reconnect with your besties! You don’t need a date to have fun on Valentine’s day: throw a Galentine’s slumber party! Keep reading for some awesome party planning tips.
This year’s Galentine’s Party!
We stayed at the Arrive Austin hotel, which had a really cute vibe. Limiting the group to 5 and getting tested beforehand is a great way to keep it COVID friendly.
You can’t have a party without some cute décor! Here are some adorable and inexpensive decoration ideas that fit the Galentine’s Day theme:
· Galentines Balloon Arrangements
· Happy Galentine’s Day Banner
I put together little gift bags for my friends that they absolutely loved. You can find cute gift bags and tissue paper on Amazon.
Here are some super cute gift ideas that are budget friendly:
· Chocolates
· Pink tie dye hoodie (also comes in dark pink!)
· Valentines Pajama Pants (I chose to pair PJ pants with a tie dye hoodie)
(Quick tip: You can customize the PJs and hoodies yourself by using fabric paint and stencils or iron-on letters.)
We had tons of sweet treats to enjoy while watching movies, playing games, and catching up! Including cupcakes, chocolates, marshmallows, and chocolate covered strawberries that I made myself (check out my TikTok for the recipe!).
Ya’ll know I love, love, love a good theme, so of course I had to buy these heart shaped plates, pink cups, and red napkins!
I definitely recommend taking photos, whether you’re getting cute pictures for Instagram or just trying to remember the moment. Having extra decorations and props will give your photos a little something extra.
My friends and I decided to book dinner reservations, get dressed up and take ourselves out on a nice date (we all decided to wear coordinating red dresses!).
We also did a cotton candy rosé toast before heading to dinner. Just put some cotton candy in your glass before pouring the champagne – it tastes amazing!
(Tip: These champagne glasses are actually disposable, and perfect for any event!)
Try this!
